Recycling & Reuse Options

General Recycling Information:
Incandescent Bulbs
-When they are burned out or broken, place in the trash. There are no local recycling options for these bulbs.

 Neon Bulbs-These can be considered hazardous waste and should not be thrown in the trash. Please bring old neon bulbs to a Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Event.

Fluorescent Bulbs and Tubes-These high efficiency bulbs contain mercury and are considered hazardous  waste; they are illegal to throw in the trash. Please bring old neon  bulbs to a Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Event.

Halogen Bulbs-When they are burned out or broken, place in the trash. There are no local recycling options for these bulbs.

LED Bulbs-These high efficiency bulbs do not contain any hazardous materials. When they are burned out or broken, place in the trash. There are no local  recycling options for these bulbs.

Christmas Lights-These can be recycled with electronics.
